For Christ is the Head of the Church

For Christ is the head of the church.

The first to rise from the dead,

That He might be ruler, supreme over all

And reconcile us unto God.

 

All praise to the head of the church.

By Him we shall rise from the dead,

That we might be rulers to reign over all,

Bearing witness to the pow’r of God.
